I just noticed this new column this morning! it’s called “Price”!!
Is Apple preparing to charge for some podcast?

I know that some podcasted have been dreaming of this revenue model over an advertisement based. But seriously, you show is better to be very good for me to pay. I know that advertisers have been more than slow to embrace podcasting but i’m not sure that a paying model is going to work either.
I’ve checked around and haven’t found more about this for now, but will continue to dig.

The way it’s described it sound like it! But do you want a book with multimedia embeded? It’s been done before! It was called a cd-rom in the 90’s and the web afterward!
Could it fly? Can’t say I heard the lP on iTunes are a succes!
Rumor: Ebooks for Apple Tablet, From Harper Collins [Rumors]
According to the WSJ,
HarperCollins Publishers is in talks with Apple about providing ebooks for Apple’s tablet. It’s speculated that ebook markets such as Amazon’s would
seriously suffer if such an arrangement were finalized.
Based on explanations by Brian Murray, the chief executive of HarperCollins, the reason Amazon would initially have something to fear is that “e-books enhanced with video, author interviews and social-networking applications could command higher retail prices for publishers than current e-books” in the future. Apple’s tablet would, of course, be ideal for such enhanced content, and we already know that they’ll be digging for mags, newspapers and college textbooks but this is some of the first we’ve heard of Apple negotiating with publishers for regular e books.
Ah, I suppose we’ll be able to speculate some more on January 27th, in the meantime—on the tablet or not—”enhanced ebooks” sound like a blast. Just imagine how often you’ll say that something was way better with the author commentary. [WSJ]

I never smoked in my life, don’t intent to. But I really think it’s pushing thing too far?
What’s next?
I agree that smoking is not good for your health. But I just think that most producer or hardware are chicken and any reason to invalidate the warranty is good for them, what about cooking smoke? you have a fireplace at home producing some some? bad too?
Apple says and it’s fan too that they are the best made computer you can get! But now they are suddenly vulnerable to smoke? Why older model are not also plagued buy it? Weird that it’s a problem now when the number of smoker is at it’s lowest! hum!
Maybe next time that warranty will be void because the location where you used it wasn’t fengshui?
